“By the way, Dick,” Doobie said, struggling to stand, and shake my hand. “It was a really nice thing you did for Di, and she appreciates it more than you will ever know.”

“She’s more than welcome,” I said, smiling at Di. “I actually wasn’t going to mention that to anyone, but she deserves it.”

“What’d you do, Dick,” Buckington said grinning. “Cootchie coo her coochie? I wouldn’t tell nobody either, since Sue would find out and kick your nuts off, and a nut less Dick, probably wouldn’t be much fun to play with.”
