The Village of Butt: Act I
Richard Hare is a writer who's tired of standing in one place. Until six months ago, he lived his whole life in a tiny Alaskan town with an impossible-to-pronounce name. But he found a job writing for a magazine in New York City, and they've sent him to the west Texas town of Butt to interview the billionaire grandson of the town's founder, Buckington Butt, III.
Interviewing Buckington, though, is no small task, as Hare soon finds out. He's forced to follow along on the wild ride that is Buckington's laid back, fun-all-the-time lifestyle, gathering friends along the way. Suddenly, Hare begins wondering whether he really wants to return to his "real" life at all.
